What’s co-branding?
For each active client you have you’ll be billed $14.95 (you’ll be given a sponsor code for your clients to use to bypass the credit card info page) this makes it super convenient for your client to only be billed once for your services - all you have to do is incorporate the $14.95 into your monthly fees. Plus it makes you look a lot more professional because your business name will be at the top of smartcredit page & you can also include your logo.
With Co-branding you are given a back-office where you could temporarily suspend clients who have yet to make a payment collect social security info, so you could suppress the secondary bureaus. (This is nice to avoid the awkward conversation when it comes to asking a client for their social)
You’ll also never have to worry about your clients keeping up with paying for credit monitoring because you’ll have full control!
I use co-branding with smartcredit to my advantage and as a tool to close my clients during the consultation call. I’ll say “the good thing about us is you’ll only make 1 payment and it’ll include credit monitoring & identity theft insurance, with the other guys (credit repair companies) you’ll have to pay their monthly program cost plus a separate payment to a credit monitoring company.
I believe to Co-brand it’s $250-350 it’s a one time payment for life (you aren’t paying for it once a month) they do have a lot of promotions to sign up. Oh here’s an easy hack you could implement to essentially keep your clients for a LIFETIME. Allow me to explain:
Let’s say your client is near graduation instead of sending them on their way.. Explain to them the importance of keeping the identity theft insurance and credit monitoring. If they decide to keep it (which most times they will) you can set your own rate and sell credit monitoring & identity theft insurance for $30-50 a month or whatever you choose. Now that client is paying you every month and you’re only responsible for $14.95 to keep them active.
